Our Mission

Mission and Vision

The vision of the Binational Pro-Family Pro-Life League emerged as a response to the 1997 “Special Assembly for America” of the Synod of Bishops, as well as the 1999 post-synodal exhortation, Ecclesia in America.

The League organizes the Binational Pro-Family Pro-Life Congress (Congreso) from the Hispanic community and for the Hispanic community. It strengthens the local Church by uniting members of the Hispanic Catholic community and empowering them to be leaders in efforts relating to evangelization, family life, and respect for life. The Congreso can also assist in creating a pro-life, pro-family and evangelization network in the Americas among the Hispanic Catholic community.

The mission of the League is to help people become more effective in evangelizing in our faith and pro-family and pro-life ministry when returning to daily life; to share the Gospel of Life with our community, and endow them with the resources, information and a more profound understanding of our roles as baptized members of the Church. Participants will be more effective leaders in the proclamation of the dignity of human life and stand up against threats and challenges that negatively affect their families and communities.

THE JOY OF LOVE IN THE FAMILIES IS THE JOY OF THE CHURCH.

I repeat the words of the Second Vatican Council condemning crimes and attacks against human life: “-whatever is opposed to life itself such as any type of murder, genocide, abortion, euthanasia… all these things and others of their kind are infamies indeed. They poison human society, but they do more harm to those who practice them than to those who suffer from injury. Moreover they am a supreme dishonor to the Creator”... St. John Paul II
